We hope that our first boogie of 2020 with DJ Hell set the tone for our programming for the year. Our aim is always to educate and help the community here experience both more established and the future of our beloved music scene.

Andrew Thomson has been at the helm of party outfit and label, Huntleys + Palmers for the past 12 years, where he has displayed a keen curatorial ear via parties between Glasgow and London; booking everyone from Axel Boman to Veronica Vasicka, Four Tet to Silver Apples and hundreds of others in between. He was also behind the programming of a weekly residency at London's legendary Plastic People.

Continuing this eye for emerging talent, he runs several labels (H+P, Highlife, Belters) releasing and assisting in launching the careers of talented individuals from Argentina to the Ukraine, including the likes of Auntie Flo, SOPHIE, Mehmet Aslan, Hi & Saberhägen, Red Axes, Golden Teacher and many, many more. Andrew's appetite for discovering and sharing new music both informs and fuels his DJ'ing; playing all night at the legendary Salon des Amateurs in Düsseldorf and the mighty Bassiani in Tbilisi. Additionally, he's rocked pool parties in Rio, rooftops in Istanbul and played at the majority of the best venues in the world; including Glastonbury, Barbican, Fabric, Nowadays, Good Room, Video Club, Le Sucre, Contact, Dommune, Corsica Studios, Razzmatazz, Sub Club, The Art School, Berghain Kantine, Tradgarden, Ohm, Dimensions festival.

On warmup, we welcome back Ricardo de Meneses who we are excited to now have on board as one of our residents at Boogie Box. For those that don't know, Ricardo is a passionate vinyl digger, who delves into the sound is dubby, electro and micro flavours of House and Techno.
