Simon B

Simon Bechus aka Simon B hails from Cape Town, South Africa. He fell in love with house music in the mid 90's jamming to Frankie Knuckles and Marshall Jefferson at South Africa's 1st house club Funky Lemons!

Simon's cousin DJ Warren was a huge creator of the underground scene in Cape Town starting the legendary Power Station.

After coming to Dubai and getting a job with national Radio 1 hosting the "B in the PM" Radio 1's drive show he bought his DJ equipment and started from the beginning with a style of deep to tech to progressive house music. Simon B has played at Zinc, Lotus 1, Submarine, Amatista, Plastik, Alpha, Zenith, Elegante, Creamfields Abu Dhabi, Hiltonia and has opened for Seb Fontaine, Satoshi Tomie, Steve Lawler and Bob Sinclare.

Simon has resided at Cubes, Relax@12, Sax, Oceans and Level Lounge, he currently resides at the Aloft Liquid Rain Pool Parties, House of Afrika at M-Dek, N'Dulge as well as a new residency at Vertigo.
