In the late 19th century, Caroline Astor (mother to the St. Regis founder, John Jacob Astor IV) elevated Afternoon Tea to a new level of sophistication by introducing the ritual at elegant gatherings at her home in Manhattan. Now more than a century later and thousands of miles away, the Afternoon Tea tradition is alive at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi.

The luxury resort welcomes all to a warm, festive atmosphere adorned with traditional décor and live entertainment by the resident harpist, perfect for holiday celebrations. In addition to an assortment of savory delights and traditional scones, the imaginative pastry chef has created a selection of indulgent pastries including almond stollen, spiced gingerbread loaf, yule log and more. Guests will also receive a festive-themed favor bag.
