One of Ireland's most celebrated DJ's Shane Patrick now based in the UAE is setting the scene alight at the moment.
When Ministry Of Sound announced in 2011 that they were running a worldwide search to find the London clubs new head resident out of the thousands of entries there was only to be one winner.
Thrown in at the deep end his first date at the club after the announcement was closing Ministry Of Sound's main room after none other than Benny Benassi and quite frankly he smashed it.
Since then he has gone on to warm up for the likes of Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas + Like Mike, Steve Angello, Laidback Luke, Nicky Romero, Armin Van Burren, Sander Van Doorn, Chuckie, Kaskade, , Tommy Trash, Wolfgang Gartner, Danny Avila, Thomas Gold and played in the main room of Ministry Of Sound more times than any other DJ during the years 2011-2015.
His biggest date there being in August 2012 when he got to headline the club which was a lifetime ambition of his.
He also played the warm up set's for both Armin Van Burren 2012 and Hardwell 2013 when they were both announced as the worlds number one DJ at the DJmag top 100 parties in London .
He is no stranger to touring and has clocked up considerable air miles over the years playing in over 50 countries with dates in places like Hong Kong, Pakistan, Brazil, Cambodia, Thailand, Chile, Barhain, Germany, India, regular trips to Miami during the winter music conference and headlining some of the best clubs and festivals in the world including the likes of Cocoon in Frankfurt and Creamfields in the UK.
Add to that dates all over the UK and regularly going back to his home country of Ireland you get the drift.
As at ease in the studio as he is in the DJ booth with hundreds of releases over the years under a variety of names and also ghost producing for some of the biggest names in the scene its with the name Shane Patrick he focus's on a big room sound that's perfect for both the clubs and festivals he plays throughout the year.
Over the years his productions have gained support from all the big players with Tiesto, David Guetta, Pete Tong , Swedish House Mafia , Hardwell , Laidback Luke, Roger Sanchez , Erick Morillo, Eddie Haliwell and Thomas Gold all counting themselves as fans.
With regular plays on some of the biggest radio stations around the world including BBC Radio 1 UK and Siriusxm USA if you have not heard his track's yet its only a matter of time.
After 7 years in London 4 of which were as a resident for Ministry Of Sound he is now based in UAE preforming weekly as resident for the 5 star Park Rotana in Abu Dhabi.
With a full slate of touring, solo projects, collaborations, and remixes on the horizon this is set to be his biggest year to date.
