Let's not get into what inspired Hassan to DJ, his first mind-blowing experience or any other generic DJ bio nonsense.
It's simple; he loves music and sharing it with people. And of course, he's good at it.
He's been doing it for almost 10 years now, playing in venues around the globe, including Montreal, Toronto, London, Dubai, Beirut and Abu Dhabi.
At clubs you'll find Hassan playing House, Deep House, Tech House and Disco. In lounges, Down-Tempo and groovy Funk and Jazz.
Hassan is the founder of the non-profit label Buy You Sell Me, which has seen releases featuring the works of Remute, Quenum, Hakan Lidbo, Soul Minority, Tom Ellis, Xhin, Space System, Perc, Sven Brede, Someone Else and Carlton Banks among others. Success of the label has seen it gain club and radio support from a number of DJs, including John Tejada, Martin Eyerer, Martin Landsky, Mark Henning, Tim Green, DJ Three, Chris Fortier, D'Julz, Dirt Crew, Jeff Samuel and Patrice Baumel, to name but a few.
In recent years, he has founded Boogie Box, which has quickly established itself as an innovative, consistent and in-demand creative hub for quality music in the region. Originally established to provide a platform for the exploration of underground House and Techno music in Abu Dhabi, its events have grown and diversified to feed the passions of music lovers from across genres, including Down-Tempo, Funk, Jazz, Trip-Hop, Disco, House and Techno. Boogie Box's emphasis on forward thinking music and artistic imagery via live visuals has allowed it to maintain its allure and continuously draw large audiences, comprised of music lovers, artists and clubbers.
Since its inception, Boogie Box events have been and continue to be showcased in a number of venues across the Middle East, including Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Beirut.
