Whether it’s house, disco, funk or lounge music, Dan Chadwick’s sets are shot through with soul, a by-product from his sunset sessions at cult Ibiza hang out, Savannah.

As one of their resident DJs, he was charged with setting the scene at one of the most iconic sunsets in the world, playing an eclectic mix of soulphuric music during the day, and a hands up, heads down selection of house music at night. Alongside that, Dan was the resident DJ and co-promoter at well regarded night Jumpstart, while he was also a guest at some huge White Isle events, including the Eden closing party.

Born and bred in the North of England, he first cut his teeth in the bustling club and bar scene in Manchester during the late 90s, and has kept that passion for DJing and music right up to the present day.

Now based in Dubai, he’s run several successful nights in the city, notably monthly soulful house party SessionS which brought over names like Graeme Park, DJ Yass and Lenny Fontana, as well as becoming a resident DJ at the Dek on 8, the award-winning audio tonic night and MustHaveSoul. But it was MHS that played a huge part in Dan’s DJ career in the Middle East. Based at the stunning Burj-side 360 club for 4 years, he was resident for 3 of those brilliant years, dropping soul-infused house cuts on warm up week in, week out for MustHaveSoul, opening and closing for house heavyweights like DJ Spen, Karizma and Atjazz.

More recently, he’s been hand-picked to play Dubai hot-spots like The Basement and the Reade St. Boat Party, while on NYE 2014 he was part of the Masterjam line up alongside Chic, The Jacksons, Chaka Khan and Jocelyn Brown.
